I have been working on several pieces and actually finished a couple of them. My stitching on Blueberries and Cream isn't going as fast as I would like, but it is moving along. I have both sides of the fob outlined and most of the name tag done. Need to finish the flowers and chart/stitch my name.
I managed to put together my scissor fob, so this piece is my first stitched and finished piece for 2012.

I also finished the stitching on Hinzeit's Folk Art Flowers.

In my stash are several  personalized ornaments from M-Designs that I ordered several years ago. Two weekends past I started the first one. My hope is to have a family ornament tree one day. I am stitching this one with GAST  Cherry Wine.

First Finish

Day three of 2012!
2011 is over and I look forward to what the new year has in store. I hope that I will be able to complete a few projects this year. I have taken on the task of photographing my WIPs and making a list of my stash as I attempt to organize it all. The list so far is very long, and I don't think I have hit the half way point yet,  so my goal is to limit my stash acquisition and concentrate on stitching/finishing stash on hand. I am almost done selecting my first focus projects. Several ornaments that were stitched last year need to be finished and a few projects resurfaced from stitching bags stashed here and there.
My fist finish for 2012 is a scissor fob from SharonV of The Purple Thread.

Sent and Received.....

This Quaker Hedgehog a freebie from Workbasket was stitched for an exchange on HoE blog. Yuko was the recipient.

My second exchange piece to reach it's new home was stitched for an exchange on the Legacy BB. The goal was to stitch a Quaker inspired piece in spring colors. This was the motif I stitched is from Papillon Creations Ring O' Roses pattern.

Pinkeep for Mercedes.

Linda on LegacyBB stitched this beautiful scissor keep for me:

I received this biscornu from Sally on the HoE blog. Sally's first exchange piece for me went MIA, she graciously and willing stitched another piece. Special thanks to Sally for this wonderful piece of stitching.
