Blueberries and Cream 1

It's been sometime since my last post. The project I've been working on most recently is Blueberries and Cream. The project uses several specialty stitches, and techniques to complete a covered tape measure. scissor fob, name plate and needlebook that are part of a quilted sampler protector. The covered tape measure  is the first piece that I have completed.

I have some more stitching to do on the needlebook, then I hope to get back to some more finishing,

Leap Day Finish

The inside portions of my Blueberries and Cream piece are stitched. I've completed the 3 needlepages and the Threader Pocket. Now on to the tape measure cover.

I will have to do some frogging on Live, Love, Laugh as I just noticed that I have miscounted the placement of 2 motifs. Arghh................

My group project with Swan Sampler Guild was finished on Leap Day 2012. The piece was Tiny Flag by Shepherd's Bush. My Tiny Flag was stitched to be finished as a framed piece. I plan to order the mat from an online shop.

Hopefully I will have it framed and ready to hang by Memorial Day.

Well it seams I can't add pictures today, not sure what is going on with Goggle/blogger. Will try later.

I have been working on several pieces and actually finished a couple of them. My stitching on Blueberries and Cream isn't going as fast as I would like, but it is moving along. I have both sides of the fob outlined and most of the name tag done. Need to finish the flowers and chart/stitch my name.
I managed to put together my scissor fob, so this piece is my first stitched and finished piece for 2012.

I also finished the stitching on Hinzeit's Folk Art Flowers.

In my stash are several  personalized ornaments from M-Designs that I ordered several years ago. Two weekends past I started the first one. My hope is to have a family ornament tree one day. I am stitching this one with GAST  Cherry Wine.
