Nov/Dec Catch Up

The Prairie Schooler Christmas Alphabet is an new start for me in December. I'm using DMC 221 for my border instead of the called for DMC 3052.

My other start for December is Primitive Merry Christmas Pillow by Abby Rose Designs.

I have a finish! On the last day of November I finished the stitching on Tis the Season. It was my focus piece for November.

October One-A-Day Challenge

October 1, 2019 the calendar says Fall started on the 23 September but someone didn't get the memo. Today the temperature reached 96° F and our low is predicted to be 80° F which we won't see/fell till 11 PM. Not your expected Fall weather.

I'm accepting Melissa's Challenge to stitch at least One(stitch)-a-Day during the month of October. This will be the last One-a-Day Challenge for 2019. I plan to continue working on Stacy Nash's Halloween at Hollyberry Farm and will be adding Tis the Season, by Blackbird Designs. Time will tell if I can get in one stitch daily on each or if I will alternate. Either way I hope to make some progress on both.

Stitching Hopes and Dreams for 2019

This is my second attempt the first post disappeared in to a black hole somewhere.

Making a list is usually a death knell for me. I would really like for 2019 to be the year of WIPs for me. While I haven't counted, I know the number is staggering. So here is what I want to do in 2019.

This is my stitching starting point for 2019.

I've started (again) to organize my stash. The goal is to avoid buying this I have already purchased and just get what I need to complete the ones I already have. To that end the all by two number groups of  DMC floss (100s and 300s) are sorted, tagged and bagged. I need some more labels then I can complete this and move on to the specialty threads.

Eight Days In

It's the eighth and I haven't posted September's progress yet. EEK!!

My September Fully Stitched included, the Autumn and Hoot designs from Lizzie Kate's Autumn Smalls, and Bent Creek's Pumpkin. I have finished Autumn and Hoot as pillows. My new starts were A Bit of October, Lizzie Kate Flip It Bits and Blackbird Designs' 'Tis the Season.
