Today I'm sharing an angel ornament. I found this pattern
here while looking for a quick-to-stitch ornament for Kaye's
Christmas Ornie SAL. My little angel is holding a candle that is made up of a bugle bead and gold seed bead; her halo is stitched with Krenik braid.
One of my fondest memories of Christmas Eve is hearing carolers. Growing up, civic groups, churches and other choirs/singers often could be heard caroling in the neighborhood, To this day when I return home for the holidays I make it a point to attend the Challenge of Carols. After a night of caroling, many choirs converge in the main square for a sunrise Christmas Concert.
At home I usually spend the night watching Christmas movies, It's a Wonderful Life is one of my favorites, as is the Charlie Brown Christmas.
Vickie has a clip of my fave part of Charlie Brown Christmas in her post.
